I now have a hunch that I may get different results by seeing a MALE doctor and letting him know that while I will come in for a yearly consultation in order to obtain medication, I will NOT be having a pelvic exam as it is completely unnecessary and unrelated to migraines. I get the impression that female doctors and their assistants feel much more empowered (or entitled) to bitch you in to a pelvic exam than would a man. We'll see if it works, but something has to change and soon.
