Well well well! The plot thickens. Sharpens. Whatever.

As Kirsten pointed out to me on Twitter, this relates to two videos I made last year documenting (in a humorous way) a similar scenario:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wy27VHcwwcQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_94wcXn1UZs&feature=related

Plus, just now I ran across yet another "stalagmite"-tagged YouTube video, which documents a much "pointier" "stalagmite" than the one mine documents. It's more like Kirsten's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwM0we_t94c&feature=related

Note: My "Virgin Mary" theory might not be accurate, but I'll bet you dollars to dimes I can find more people to subscribe to it with absolute certainty than the vile scientist above can. God hates fags, people. ;)

I know this is sort of unrelated but I've even had migraine medication withheld from me for not submitting to a pelvic exam on a yearly basis...how unbelieveably invasive is THAT? And it's not just one doctor, this has happened to me with three different (female) doctors. I now have a hunch that I may get different results by seeing a MALE doctor and letting him know that while I will come in for a yearly consultation in order to obtain medication, I will NOT be having a pelvic exam as it is completely unnecessary and unrelated to migraines. I get the impression that female doctors and their assistants feel much more empowered (or entitled) to bitch you in to a pelvic exam than would a man. We'll see if it works, but something has to change and soon.

Even PP would prefer a woman to face an abortion, ectopic pregnancy or have an unplanned pregnancy to force unnecessary and harmful exams or force tests that require YOUR informed consent because they carry risk to your healthy body.
No one can demand you have cancer screening, it can only be an option.
Is this Dr prepared to accept full responsibility if you get a false positive and have harmful over-treatment? I doubt it.
It is a violation of your civil rights and highly unethical.
I'd be getting some legal advice, that is a try-on and if you let doctors get away with that...in the end, women become people with no rights controlled by doctors.
Men have a choice about screening for VERY common prostate cancer and women should have a choice about screening for a rare cancer.
200,000 cases of prostate cancer a year v 10,500 for cervical cancer
Do you ever hear of doctors coercing men into testing or denying men unrelated medications to force testing?
Of course not, they'd never get away with it.
Women must tackle prejudice and paternalistic attitudes head on, otherwise nothing will change.
Every woman has a right to birth control - a medical history and blood pressure test are all that's required...this is a Dr level illegal boycott.

Recently I was appalled when I was denied birth control pills at a Planned Parenthood in Texas before a scheduled exam ever took place. I've been on the pill for years and simply went to my local Planned Parenthood because it was the fastest way to be seen by a doctor while out of town due to a family emergency. (mine's a long story, here's the link: http://www.ripoffreport.com/doctors/planned-parenthood/planned-parenthood-the-garlan-225bc.htm) I've always been told an exam was necessary to obtain the pill and I've always succumbed to an exam in order to obtain a prescription. I wanted to post this here, because I think it's important to note that you can be denied birth control at Planned Parenthood even if you agree to the exam. I was told specifically I wouldn't receive my prescription. At that point they took away my choice and that's unacceptable. That was my first experience with Planned Parenthood and it left quite an impression. I can't believe this is what women who rely on these clinics go though just to get contraceptives. I thought Planned Parenthood was where you go to get birth control, it seems I was naive.

It's all the same chyme by the time it hits your pylorus, so what's the point of all that time and effort?

A handful of hamburger and a double handful of greens, nuked for a few minutes. gives you a staple diet of the nutrients you need.
